LA Dance Magic

LA Dance Magic is a national dance convention who's mission is to provide a nurturing learning environment where students can feel safe to explore and challenge themselves with new movement styles without feeling intimidated.

As the graphic designer of the company, I was in charge of developing visual assets for the company including schedules, VIP membership cards, signage, social media filters, gifs, gobos, scholarships, medals, and lanyards.

The challenge was to develop brand assets that were consistent with one another, easy to adapt for different venues, and unique from their competitors. Because of this I unified the brand through typography, visual motifs, and a playful bold color palette. I used the typeface Stolzl as their main typeface for it's friendly, bold, and legible attributes, used thick strokes throughout all designs containing design elements, and neon pink, purple, blue colors to create a fun approachable tone to the assets.
